Lindsay is a newcomer to Toronto and BB has been part of her new life as a Canadian and a mommy for two months. Lindsay brightens every BB class she attends with her amazing work ethic and team spirit. We are pretty sure if we asked Lindsay to do 100 burpees she would do it. Oh, wait... we probably already did that... 

What brought you to BB? How long did you train?

I saw a deal for BB online and just had to try it. I have participated in bootcamps before and I really liked them. Also, since I am just a bit crazy about my son's schedule, the timing could not be better for class. It was a no-brainer for me and has been an amazing experience so far. I have been training for two months, twice a week and am totally addicted! I love it!

What results have you experienced?

Since joining BB, I feel so much better about myself. I am noticing differences in my physical strength, stamina, and appearance. Mentally, it is a fun stress-reliever and a chance to chat with other new moms.

How do you stay active outside of BB?

Outside of BB, I try to run most mornings before my son wakes up. Other than that, I enjoy walking my errands with my boy and taking him to the park, splash pads, and pool.

What is your #1 fitness goal now?

My fitness goals at the moment include increasing my energy level, losing weight, getting back into my pre-baby clothes, and overall toning. Is that too much to ask?!

Fave healthy food?

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? I love apples!! I eat at least one a day, sometimes more. For healthy dinners, I am on a stuffed pepper kick, experimenting with new "stuffed" elements all the time.

Fave BB exercise?

My favorite BB exercises are the circuits that involve more than one muscle group, in particular the core and arms. For example, I love push ups and planks using the picnic table, then having to run up the hill or step up onto the bench.

Exercise you want to punch in the face?

This one is not so hard to answer...all of the girls on the ground in a plank while we take turns army crawling under everyone. I have only had to do this one once, thank goodness, and I hope to never do it again...(take note Cecilia!)

Last splurge food or drink? depends on what kind of mood I am in and/or where I am... since it is the summer, vodka is always on the ticket, followed by chardonnay, rosé, and a nice malbec. Notice a pattern here???
