Meet Karen from our Bloor West/High Park BB location. Karen blew us away when she jumped right into prenatal BB near her 3rd trimester and rocked it right to the end, and now we love having her enthusiasm and winning smile in our stroller fitness classes since her little one was born! Basically, we just can't wait until she gets pregnant again! Thanks, Karen.
What brought you to BB? How long did you train?
I started BB at 25 weeks pregnant after my friend told me how much she loved the classes. I brought Una with me at 10 weeks postnatal and she's now 9 months old. Can't imagine the last year without BB, the amazing trainers, lovely moms, and adorable baby friends.
What results have you experienced?
Doing BB definitely made me stronger during pregnancy and prepared me for the workout of my life. On days when I'm feeling tired and haggard, BB gets me out of the house and I return totally energized and rejuvenated.
How do you stay active outside of BB?
I try to do short workouts at home like squats or lunges with the baby, or pushups and crab dips. I also do high intensity intervals that I learn in class. Now with the weather getting warmer, I'd love to sneak away for a run.
What is your #1 fitness goal now?
By the end of the summer I hope to run 10K like my former self.
Fave healthy food?
I love squash anything, especially with cinnamon.
Fave BB exercise?
Star jumps make me feel so free!

Wall sits. Argh.
Last splurge food or drink?
I have the most sinful Toffee Brownie recipe...
